Dear Future Parishioner:
Thank you for your desire to affiliate with St. Aloysius
Parish. We are presently accepting registration into our
church parish from those individuals and families who live within the
geographical boundaries of St. Aloysius Parish. Those individuals or
families who live outside of the geographical boundaries of St. Aloysius
Parish, but are in a bordering church parish, may request admission in
writing stating your reasons for wishing to affiliate with our
parish. Church regulations also require written permission from the
pastor of the church in the geographical area in which you presently
reside in order to join another parish. This applies even if you are
not currently registered in the Catholic Church parish of your
residence.
Our parish is very rich and diverse in talents and
ministries. We strongly encourage our parishioners to participate in
the three aspects of stewardship: ministry, offering, and
prayer. Our ministry program reaches out to the youngest and oldest
of our congregation. In regard to offering, we ask that our
parishioners prayerfully consider contributing financially to the support
of St. Aloysius Parish. We also call our church community to prayer
and worship which is the true basis for our faith.
One of our largest ministries is St.
Aloysius School.Because our parish continues to grow, priorities
have been created for the admission of children into St. Aloysius
School. Information on school admissions can be accessed at the St. Aloysius School website.
We sincerely appreciate your
interest in St. Aloysius Parish, and we welcome both parishioners and non
parishioners to join in the Celebration of the Eucharist on Sundays.
Our staff is available to answer any questions that you may
have. If you wish to become a member of the parish, call Mary Nell Chapman at (225) 343-6657 ext. 3020 for more information.
Sincerely, Rev. Gerald Burns Pastor
